You are invited to a San Mateo County Early Learning Stakeholder Meeting on October 12 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Foster City Library.
The San Mateo County Office of Education is leading a team charged to develop a Comprehensive Early Learning Plan (CCELP) for the state of California for the next 5 to 10 years – a practical roadmap for early learning and care integrated with early health and mental health.
First 5 San Mateo County is a partner in this work along with the California Department of Education and the David and Lucile Packard Foundation. We are engaged in an extensive stakeholder input process across the state.
Now it is our turn to weigh in here in San Mateo County! What are your priority recommendations? What should we do locally, and as a state, to improve the prospects for young children? We will solicit your best thinking using a well-organized, thoughtful process.
Come ensure that San Mateo County voices shape the state’s Early Learning Plan!
