The keynote address will be by A. Toni Yancey, doctor, educator, poet and author of critically acclaimed book, Instant Recess.

Dr. Yancey is a staunch advocate for chronic disease prevention, adolescent health promotion and health equity.

Her most recent book, Instant Recess, proposes a new paradigm for fitness and public health that promises vitality, well being and a greater sense of community – demonstrating, as Dr. Yancey argues, that what’s good for the wasitline is good for the bottom line.
