San Bruno Mountain State and County Park in Brisbane offers 2,326 acres of rugged landscape that make for excellent hiking opportunities and outstanding views.
In addition, the park is home to 14 species of rare or endangered plant life, as well as host and nectar plants for endangered butterflies. We encourage you to bring a picnic to enjoy after the hike and take advantage of the breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and the San Francisco skyline.
Meeting location: Hikers should meet at the main parking lot at 9 a.m. on September 7.

Hikers are advised to wear long pants, closed-toe shoes and dress in layers. Sunscreen, a water bottle, and hat are always recommended.
Take A Hike encourages you to discover a County Park on the first Saturday each month. Participants learn about local parks and are encouraged to use the trails to stay active and healthy. Rangers and volunteers lead the hikes and provide information about park history and the local habitat.
