The San Mateo County Supervisorial District Lines Advisory Committee has recommended the Board of Supervisors consider three alternatives that would redraw the boundaries of the County’s five supervisorial districts.
Visit the Committee’s website to view the maps, demographic data and background materials. All maps that have been submitted to the Committee are posted on the site: http://www.smcdistrictcommittee.org/
The Board is scheduled to consider possible boundary adjustments at its regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, October 8. The Board will hear a report from a demographer on the effects of the three maps and may consider other alternatives based on additional public input. Maps showing current district boundaries are available on the Committee’s site.
The Board will meet Tuesday, October 8, at 9 a.m. in the Board Chambers, San Mateo County Hall of Justice, 400 County Center, Redwood City, 94063.
